Female Coach Mentorship Program

CAC – CAAWS Female Coach Mentorship Project

The Female Coach Mentorship Project (FCMP) is a two year project, that aims to develop a sustainable model of mentorship for female coaches who are interested in enhancing their skill set and optimizing their potential.

FCMP is a collaborative project between the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) and the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) and funded through the Status of Women Canada.

Delivered by the University of Toronto’s Kinesiology Department, mentees and mentors participated in a two day training workshop, May 2016, focusing on identifying success factors and developing a work plan that will bridge the gaps for the mentee coaches. The full program launch will be in September 2017.
